HDF signs MOU with Pestech on hydrogen production in Cambodia and Malaysia

Hydrogène de France (HDF) has signed an MOU with Pestech International to collaborate on green hydrogen production from hydropower plants in Cambodia and Malaysia. This will aid in supporting decarbonisation efforts in grid services and industrial application processes.

Under the terms of the MOU, Pestech will participate in green renewable initiatives. Paul Lim Pay Chaun, MD and Group CEO of Pestech, said: “The collaboration with HDF Energy on green hydrogen production is expected to complement and align with the global transition for sustainable energy and net zero emissions in the power supply industry.”

Damien Havard, CEO at HDF Energy, said: “HDF Energy is glad to collaborate with Pestech on hydrogen while accelerating its development in Asia to accompany sustainable development.”
